We'd like to introduce you to our first featured #BlackBrand (and our latest wine obsession), The McBride Sisters.
In 2005, Robin and Andréa McBride started on their mission to transform the wine industry, lead by example, and cultivate community, one glass of delicious wine at a time. Together they have cultivated an inclusive, accessible, sustainable, and socially conscious brand, and are now the largest Black-owned wine company in the United States,
In 2019, The McBride Sisters SHE CAN Professional Development Fund was created in efforts to promote the advancement of business-women and close the gender and race gap within the wine industry. The fund awarded scholarships of nearly $40,000, empowering women to strive for change and create opportunities for themselves and others.
